Hi @ajay37559755r5if,

Could you start by running your Mac in Safe Mode and check if the flickering or freezing still happens in InDesign or other Adobe apps? Reference: Safe Mode – Apple Support. If the issue persists, please also try creating a new local admin user account and test the apps there. This will help us figure out if the problem is user-specific or system-wide: Create new user – Apple Support.

Are you using any external monitor(secondary screen) where this issue is more noticeable? If so, try disconnecting it and see if the issue still occurs when working only on the primary display.

Also, in InDesign, head over to Preferences > GPU Performance, and try toggling that setting (turn it off if it’s on, or vice versa) to see if it helps reduce the flickering or freezing.

Can you confirm if your Mac is Intel-based or Apple Silicon? If you’re unsure, just go to About This Mac and share a screenshot of that window: System Info – Apple Support.

And if possible, could you record a short screen recording showing the flickering or freezing, especially if it’s happening during a specific action in InDesign? That would really help us investigate further.

Looking forward to your update.
