Question

Set color swatch to not print

I know I've created a color swatch in the past to not print. For example, the person viewing the file can see specs regarding printing, but they don't need to print on the final.

Can someone remind me how to do that?

Thank you!

Sometimes a spot color or layer is named "FPO" (for position only) to indicate drill holes, glue area, or some other non-printed elements.

Thanks. I realized it's not going to work anyway because I'm providing a pdf.

Using a spot color should work. The printer can omit that plate

I'd make it garish so it stands out.

Another option is to add a slug area for notes.

Maybe you are thinking of Layers? They can be set to non printing in layer options

That's genrally handled by putting non-printing content on a separate layer which is set not to print.

Change the paper swatch to whatever color you want.
