I work for an engineering firm producing large documents and proposals. We are loving the potential of Share for Review...minus the few glitches my team is experiencing.
On the plus side, our engineers love being able to see the conversation and comments all the reviewers are making, saving them time by not making the same comment over and over. My proposal team thinks the interaction between InDesign and SFR is wonderful!! How it highlights (usually) the comments in InDesign. In our large documents, we have found as we start to make the edits, the comment disappears making it challenging for the document editor to find where they were. The comment totally disappears or it throws them to the end of the list in a pile of "unmapped comments." What's the best way to not lose the comments? Do we mark them "resolve" each time? How can we keep them connected to that page?
Our reviewers are running into issues logging in as guests. They might be able to login once or twice as a guest, but the next time they are unable. We use the "Public with password" option so they don't have to setup an Adobe account.
Our engineers also like the potential of SFR but want to use BluBeam (UGH!) because it can print and they can still see others comments. We need a print or download option!
We have a couple of suggestions for the next round of SFR updates.
1) Print and/or download functionality
2) Can the comments not disappear? Is there a way that the comments stay connected to the text location? Our reviewers sometimes need to revisit the discussion in the SFR.
3) Sometimes we need to do a "Save As" for version control. We've run into issues with our SFR link not showing the correct version. What is the best way to avoid the wrong review file from displaying?
Thanks in advance!!

you are welcome. this forum is made up of volunteers, yes, Adobe staff answers questions/helps. But if you want to give feedback on features or bugs, that is where they will read those comments.
