Share/Review Feature Not Working

Community Beginner ,

I'm having the worst time with InDesign and the Share for Review feature. I've had it crash mutiple times while tryig to update the link - and it won't update the existing link. So I have to resave the InDesign file and create a new Share for Review link. All this is causing my team to be confused with the lastest link to use.

Now, none of the comments are being displayed. I'm just met with "We can’t load comments right now." Broswer doesn't seem to matter (Safari, Firefox, Chrome). And yes, I have cleared my cache.

InDesign is update to date (version 19.1).

Any thoughts - better, solutions, to this?

I'm having the same issue right now. It's probably down universally. Hopefully they fix it quickly...client is waiting...

Go into your InDesign document. Go to View/ Screen Mode/ change to Normal and the blue pins show up on screen. This is what fixed mine issue just now.

I am experiencing the same thing. This has happened to me multiple times over the months. Are there any fixes for this?

Hello @SyncDesignSolutions,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/InDesign, exact details of your workflow, and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/3XKixVC), so we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Screen shot attached.  Shows double page spread - BUT NO COMMENT FLAG showing where changes are to be inserted/marked.  To the right the reviewers comments can be seen but where the heck does it relate to without showing the comment placement marker in the InDesign document?

I am running InDesign 19.5 with current Chrome browser and OS Sonoma 14.5 but I'm viewing this in the actual InDesign file, not in a browser at all.  This is so frustrating and has been happening for months.
This document has 3 contributors that have made comments.  It is virtually impossible for me to make any changes based on their comments, if I can see where in the InDesign document these changes/additions need to be inserted.  I will now have to go back to three different people to get their revisions.  This is a fairly major issue that should have been rectified months ago. Come on Adobe... we are all paying for something that has a technical glitch of some kind.  It was working previously, a few months back but not for maybe 3 months.
