I'd create a new Library and put it in there then drag and drop from library

Select the text you want to add - and then create the CC Library to add the text

Then you can drag and drop it anywhere

it also means if you right click the Library item you can edit it

So if you need to make a tweak to the text - edit the Library item - and the text updates everywhere at the same time.

How do I place text into the library?
I can only drag text boxes...?

Make sure it's the CC Library

And as I did - highlight text - click the + sign to add it and select the Text option.

Hi @hendy_5450,

Thank you for sharing this! I understand that this functionality is important to you, and I apologize for its unavailability at this time. Illustrator doesn't allow you to create a manual shortcut for specific text directly within the app. You can customize keyboard shortcuts for certain tools and commands, but not for pasting custom text.

Would you mind creating a UserVoice entry for this feature request here and adding your comments? Doing this will help us prioritize the request based on user feedback, and you'll also be notified of any updates directly.

Looking forward to your update if you have any further queries!

Abhishek
