Hi,

The shortcuts in InDesign do not work after the update to Monterey. For example cmd + ; is not working.  Same shortcut in Illustrator does work.

What can I do about it?

Are you running any MS Office products like Outlook or Word?

We've seen the same behavior from aggressive controls from Office.

If we launch an Office product first, then ID - keyboard shortcuts break.

If we launch ID first then Office, they work.

Closing the program once open does not resolve. Once its open MS Office holds those shortcuts until restart - like I said very aggressive.

Try this today: Restart your computer. Launch InDesign first only. Do you shortcuts work?

Then launch Outlook.

The other trick Ive learned is to go into InDesign Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts and reselect default. Then close. Sometimes that jars it back into place.

I have tried both proposals: shut down programs, restart the computer and only start InDesign and the second trick: Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts and reselect default. Both do not work. 😞
