Hi!
I would like to know if there is a way to show the Inset Spacing lines without having to select the object in Preview Mode.
When selected:
When not selected, I would still like to see the Inset Spacing lines:
Thanks!
Chris.

I've been asked by a moderator to ask a completely different question on this same thread.
This will obviously confuse people. So I hope you will be kind enough to answer both of my questions here. Thanks.
MY SECOND QUESTION: Hiding selection/bounding box
I would like to know if there is a way to hide the selection/bounding box/edges of a selected object in InDesign because it bothers me when I work.
In Illustrator, I can do View > Hide Bounding box + View > Hide Edges. But in InDesign, I hid everything I could, and nothing works:
Thanks!

Hi Chris:
As you surmised we would be, I'm baffled by this request "I've been asked by a moderator to ask a completely different question on this same thread." I can't figure out why a moderator would ask you to do that.
That said, you can hide Frame Edges in Normal mode (they are hidden automatically unless a frame is selected in Preview mode), but no, you can't turn off the bounding box as you can in Illustrator. If a frame is selected, the bounding box will be visible, in any mode. The frame inset display is only visible when a text frame is selected. InDesign is a frame-based application, Illustrator is not—the interface is similar but accounts for the differences.
