I have a PDF that is 240" x 72". Because the PDF has extra space and crops, I wanted to quickly drop it into InDesign to confirm size. I selected Trim size in options, but it imports at 10% of size, and shows me 24" x 7.2". If I use Illustrator to open the PDF, it shows me real size, 240" x 72".
Am I missing something?

InDesign has a maximum dimension of 216 inches, so how exactly were you doing this?

I didn't get an error when I created a page size 240" wide, so after your replies I see that it defaulted down to 216, so I am guessing that it scaled the PDF because it is unable to place at 100% size.
Thanks for the replies Peter and Bob.

Also, Acrobat has a 200" limit. If I try to export a 216" x 216" document I get this warning:
The document properties of the exported PDF shows it has been cropped:

At this point, given the size limitations, one has to wonder if the original PDF in question wasn't created at 10% scale. That wouldn't be unusual for a banner.
