Spacebar to hand toggle not working in InDesign 19.1 and Photoshop 25.3.1

Overnight my photoshop and indesign tools have changed. Mainly the spacebar as handtool has gone. I use this constantly with my work and it's gone. 
why oh why do shortcuts get changed????

i have reset the tools, gone into accessibility settings and allowed photoshop and indesign to control the mac, looked through keyboard settings, restarted the computer, only opened either app by itself. Nothing is working. Please help!

Ok...I did some more deep diving and someone suggested that webroot secureanywhere could be the problem. Well I deleted it AND NOW ITS BACK!! Thank you .so much 🙂

Hi @paulgnycdohmh,

Glad to hear that it's working now. This generally happens when some other application is hijacking the shortcut. If something like this happens again, the best way to isolate the issue is to close all other applications and launch only InDesign, and then try to use the applications.
