Spelling corrections no longer works?

Hello

I have dynamic spelling checked and it find plenty of spelling errors because I am incompetent.

However when I right click the text I don't get the spelling fly out offering suggestions its the normal flyout for text options.

I restarted indesign and the PC, but its still behaves this way, it 'sees' the error but offers no suggestions for correction.

What can I do next please?

I think you are being too hard on yourself, plenty of highly competent people make spelling errors.

You can check your InDesign preferences> Autocorrect.

Set this preference with no file open, so it will be applied to every file.
