Question

Splitting paragraph the wrong direction

I'm working on a document with both english and hebrew text.

When splitting the hebrew text into columns, it works well - splitting from left to right,

But when splitting the english text, it refuses to split from left to right.

Even if I selected the correct language and paragraph direction

But I get an error when putting in this script.

also, I can copy the same text from one document to the next and in one document it will split correctly but in the next one it won't.

Maybe you have in Type > Story change the order of columns or apply an object style with this setting.

Hi Hendy,

Have you tried this script:

which comes pre-installed in Scripts > Community > BreakTextThread.jsx

And BTW, the author of this script is very familiar with English and Hebrew text.
