Hi,

There are two versions of Table of Contents:

- Screenshot 1 (Reflowable)

- Screenshot 2 (Fixed Layout)

Doesn't the Fixed-Layout Table of Contents have a link on the entries?

I made the Fixed-Layout EPUB 4 years ago.
I can't recall it at all.

If the TOC is correctly set up and updated in the ID document, I am pretty sure both formats should include clickable links. I don't see any settings that would change or confuse this. I just did a text export of a dual format file, using the print setup and exporting to FXL, and the TOC is live links but do NOT have the blue link highlighting.

Of course, in-text TOCs are deprecated in favor of a dynamic TOC for e-books, and FXL is deprecated altogether, so... 🙂

There IS a clickable link in the Fixed Layout.
I was mistaken, because:

- In Reflowable, the pointer changes to hand (Screenshot 1).
- In Fixed Layout, the pointer is maintained with arrow (Screenshot 2).

Thank you very much.

Once again, that is entirely the EPUB reader's choice. Why the same reader would use different methods is... one of those mysteries.
