Table will not detach from A Head that follows

I'm designing a book, and have a table that keeps attaching itself to an A head that follows. There is plenty of room for the table to end on one page, but one line keeps bumping to the next page with the A head. I have removed all the keep options in both styles; tried adding a blank row to the table; and adding a return. Nothing has worked. I've run out of ideas for how to fix this.

Hi,

I might be using a different terminology. What is a A head?

If I understand correctly. You expected that plaing the table, it would fit in one page, but the table continues to the next page, repeating the header row. Is that correct?

What happens if you extend the text frame on the page where you want the table to stop, way into the pasteboard, that might help locate the item that triggers the flow to the next page.

Yes, I'd like the table to end on the first page, and the header to begin on the next page page. I've tried extending the box, but that doesnt work either. Unfortunately,  I can't share the file due to copyright issues.

For the header to start again on the next page, there is an option: repeat header.

To force the last row of the table reaching the bottom of the text frame, I use the vertical alignment (Ctrl+B) or icons:

Hi @Frecklesoup23:

Try clicking on the A Head and disabling Keep with Previous.

As mentioned above, I have disabled ALL keep options on both the table and the A head.

What about the paragraph that contains the table?
