Tables: transposing columns

Explorer ,
Sep 01, 2024 Sep 01, 2024

I have a table 5 columns by 170 rows. I want to transpose the 4th and 5th columns and I can't find any advice on this.  Thank you.

Hmm! …

Just select the column and move it!

No simple method, but I'd bet there's a script out there. In lieu of one:

  • Select column to move (down-arrow at top indicates selection mode).
  • Cut.
  • Insert (new, empty) column where desired using menu, right-click menu or alt-drag.
  • Select new column.
  • Paste.

Script for something so simple would be an overkill - unless there are 100s of tables to process.

Uh... yeah, that.

ID has so few obvious drag-and-drop operations (for modification) I had that classed as "tried, didn't work." But yes it does, with fully selected rows and columns. So okay then. 😛
