Hi - I'm trying to edit a document my GD created for me. When I make an edit the text, the bullet points change alignment of the text and I can't figure out how to move the alignment back. Here is an example of what happens. Its a template document so I'm not keen to remove formatting incase I can't replace it the same. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

In order to maintain the bullet indent it needs to be set up for the paragraph through either the Bullets & Numbered List option found under the Type Menu or using the left indent and first line indent options in the Paragraph Panel. I've shown the Paragraph Panel method below with the "invisibles" turned on. Note that I've used a .25 inch left indent and a minus .25 inch indent for the first line. I then inserted a tab between the bullet and the first line of text. The inserted tab will automatically use the left indent to align the first line of text with the rest of the paragraph. When you edit text in a paragraph set up this way the indent will not change. Note that if you use the Bullets & Numbered Lists option to do this you will not see an "invisible" between the bullet and the text and you will not be able to do a "live" edit to the actual bullet. You will have to do any editing through the Bullets &n Numbered List dialog window which can be accessed through the Paragraph Panel pull-down menu.
