Text disappears

I have this text that I want to put over vector.

Whenever I try to put it on top it will disappear though or try to continue the text elsewhere (red +)

Already tried putting both in different layers but not working.

Guess I have to turn off a setting somewhere but I don't know what and where?

Help would be muhc appreciated!

The red plus sign is a giveaway that the text is overset - so it must be because of text wrap

In the text frame options tick on - 'ignore text wrap'
