Text format error and cursor is not working correctly

When I copy or even write text in InDesign CC 2017 the text is not in the correct order, and when I want to modify it, the cursor is jumping everywhere in the text box.

Are you using a Middle Eastern version of InDesign? You can check your language setting in the CC Desktop app:

Happening in every file. I even uninstall the version I had on my computer and install a trial version and having the same issue.

Ok, so let's try trashing preferences. Start by closing InDesign, then go to Library > Caches and delete the Adobe InDesign folder. It will get recreated when you restart the application.

Note: If deleting this folder makes you nervous, just move it to your desktop. If this doesn't help, you can always close InDesign and move it back. When you reopen InDesign, it will find the folder and all of your old preferences. And remember that the Library folder is hidden by default, so hold the Opt key when you open the Go menu in Finder to see it listed.

Once the folder is deleted or moved, restart InDesign, create a brand new file and start typing. Let us know what happens.

Thanks a lot, Barb... I was in Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer. Place it on Adobe Paragraph Composer and the text is all normal.
