Text Position in Indesign

Hello everyone

I have a problem, it makes me lot of confusion and disturbances. I am placing a text on the image text but the type text cannot be place upon the image text. When I tried to placed onto it it goes downward or upward or goes hide. Please help me what is going wrong I am not able to figure it out.

hmmmmm... Looks like you are stuck in the easiest one..

In accordance to your image, i think you have mistakenly turn on the "Align to baseline grid", try to turn off the baseline grid everything will be fine.

To turn off baseline grid press ctrl+alt+t (paragraph) at the bottom of the paragraph dialog box click on "Do not align to baseline grid".
