Good morning Adobe Indesign Community,
I was hoping that I could send this message to make Adobe aware that their new launch screen that emulates an old victorian book cover may not be the right color choice. The graphic is beautiful but as this seems to represent a emerald green victorian book cover, you should know that it has been discovered that the emerald-green bookcloth contain arsenic which was seemingly everywhere in the Victorian era. New research by UD researchers discovered this with the detective work by the Winterthur/UD Program in Art Conservation and UD’s Soil Testing Program which has launched a major effort to identify “poison books” and to inform libraries and collectors on safe handling and preservation practices.

You may want to consider changing the background color of the book icon.
