Tools Greyed Out

Hello,

I need help because something is either wrong with Indesign or my settings. I can only use the Type tool and notes. I tried closing the program and reopening it. I also tried opening a new document.

Please help!

This happens all the time with the new 2025 version.

    Let us know if that takes care of it. And note that there are two techniques on the post: a keyboard.command, and then manually deleting two files. If the first doesn't work, try the second one.
