Hello everyone! I'm trying to export a design into a PDF file, and everytime I do it, InDesign exports a previous design version, not the latest one. I tried closing and opening the file several times, and also changing the file name, but none of these options work. The strange thing is that I actually see the latest design version in the editable file, but it goes back to a previous one in the exported file.
Any idea in how to fix this?

As I explained before, the words that were appearing in their previous version were buttons. So I went to check if maybe in the interactive pannel I could find out something, and I did! 🙂
The buttons had 3 instances of how they appeared: before doing anything, while the mouse is over it, and when you click on it. So, two of these 3 moments were in their older version.
So created them again, from zero, updating the 3 "moments" of each button,

Are you sure you are checking correct PDF file?
What is the date and time of the PDF?

Yes, I'm sure. I tried replacing it and saving it with diffente names in different folders. I also tried unpluging the external hd, restarting the software and restarting the computer and it keeps happenning the same.

Maybe your file is corrupted - try IDMLing - export as IDML, open, save with a new name - do not overwrite your original file.

I just did did, then opened it and exported from there the PDF file, and now the words that were appearing wrong, directly dissapeared... But I can see them in the IDML file...
Whichcraft.

I even tried duplicating the editable file, changing the name and exporting it from there, and it keeps showing the previous design.

I just realized that the words that are appearing in their older versions are buttons with links in them. I replaced the buttons for plain words (created new layers for that) just to check if I could at still have the latest version, and it keeps showing the previous one.

That was the problem.
Thanks a lot for trying to help me out!
