Trying to learn to export to EPUB from InDesign. Tutorial are old (Adobe 2014 and Linda's are old.) Is there anything new? I am desperate to learn and have invested 3-4 weeks trying and trying, but I cannot make the program work. Have been using InDesign daily since 1995. Know how to use it, but can't export to epub! Which version of InDesign and OS do you have and are you wanting to produce Reflowable ePubs or FXL ePubs?

Using InDesign 2019. Have spent 2 hours 45 minutes with Adobe tech who referred me to the old tutorials and to URLs I had already visited and studied. Trying to do a reflowable epub with 70 (yes that’s right 70) photos. We solved most of problems but still have issues with captions for photos, so a more experienced tech is supposed to call me. Anyone who would like to chime in, I would enjoy the input. Am I trying to do something that’s almost impossible – a reflowable with lots of pix? This book is a biography of an artist, and she includes some of her art toward the end of the work.

Lynda.com has been merged into LinkedIn Learning.

There are definitely up-to-date tutorials from Anne-Marie Concepcion on LinedIn learning about both reflowable and fixed layout EPUB. Do a search:

Thank you. I have subscribed to Linkedin Leaning and studied Anne-Marie’s tutorial. Sorry, but to me it is not up to date since it was made in 2018. May be trying to do an impossible job that InDesign is not designed to do – a reflowable epub with 70 photos.

It's up-to-date because there were no new features for handling EPUB added in CC 2019.

You probably need to add more specific questions about your situation, and either including screen captures, or giving responders access to a file to examine.
