Trying to put the compound path frames in different places

Question

Hello in the screenshots I added to this post I'm trying to put a picture into the different frames and to do that I inserted everything into a compound path but when I'm trying to release the compound path to move the frames it removes everything except one frame as I showed in my image examples. Does anybody know how to do what I'm trying to do

You don't need to release the compound path: select the frame you want to move (technically, it is not a separate frame, but  I understand what you mean) by selecting each point of the frame with the white arrow. Then cut it (Cmd/Ctrl X) and paste it where you want.

Thank you for sharing your challenge with using compound paths in InDesign. Would you mind checking and confirming whether that particular frame is on the same layer or group?
