Turn off Pink Highlighting for missing font

I'm using a particular font in which there is no character for "space", therefore every space between words is highlighted in pink. Is there a way to turn off that highlighting?

Highlight the pink area and change to a different font. I just did it and perfecto!

There is; go Edit > Preferences > Composition and untick "Substituted Fonts".

Not in my area of expertise though is what problems this (the lack of a space in your font) could cause long term and ways to fix it, I'm not sure if a GREP style could do it or not.

Also, consider not editing your preferences to allow for this troublesome font but just use Preview mode, View > Screen mode, or hit W while not in a text box o toggle between preview and normal modes.
