Question

tyring to paste large bodies of text

I'm trying to paste a large body of text into a series of connected text boxes, but half way through the copied text, it stops showing up. This is usually mid text box with more connected after the text stops. How can I fix this?

Where is the text coming from? It may have formatting in it that is causing a problem, such as page breaks.

Why are you not importing the text via Place?

Do you have a red [+] in the right-bottom corner of the LAST threaded TextFrame?

This means that you've OVERSET text - there is an object that is larger than the TextFrame - or there is piece of text that doesn't fit in a single text line.

Or you've CharStyle pre-selected - active on the Character Styles panel - that has NoBreak attribute - make sure that [None] is highlighted / selected before you place / paste text.

Then, you've two options:

1) make last threaded TextFrame much, much bigger,

2) use Story Editor to see what's wrong.
