I'm adding hyperlinks to my footnotes in InDesign, as I do on a daily basis with this type of work. Never had an issue until now. When I highlight the the text I want, I add teh hyperlink, and by default, the text turns blue and underlines. Which is fine, I jsut change teh color and get rid of the underline and all is good. Now, out of the blue today, do the same thing, I change the color and it's fine, but it shows an underline, but the underline is not toggled on. So, I toggle it on and off, and it stays on. I select a whole paragraph, toggle it on and off, and it underlines the paragraph, but wont turn it off. I restarted InDesign, and that didn't help. Anyone have any advice? It's driving me nuts.
As a default, InDesign assigns a character style called Hyperlink that is defined as both blue and underline.

Thank you so much!! I don't know why this didn't cross my mind to do! It's so so weird because I do this daily, and it jsut randomly started doing this. I really appreciate your help, especially before I tossed my computer. 🙂
