Uneven text lines in paragraph

No matter how I adjust the spacing I can't get the word "skin" to move up to the top line when it obviously has enough space to be there. Am I missing something dumb??? Please help!

Take a look at the text with Hidden Characters showing. It could be that there is as errant return or tab messing up the text flow.

You could try the single line composer instead of the paragraph composer, but I suspect you may have Balance Ragged Lines selected.
