Hi all.

Please see attached image… is there a shortcut to place consistent space between the images, both horizontal and vertical? Maybe a smart guides feature? I always eyeball it but would like to have a quicker and more accurate method. Thanks!

  1. Make an object style with a stroke to the outside with the half width of the gap additional.
  2. Draw the rectangles edge to edge.
  3. Reduce the width of the stroke in the object style to its final width.

But you should select only objects in the same "row" or "column" - or before/after use ALIGN OBJECTS as well.

It's also pretty easy using a combination of Gridfy and the Gap tool (holding the Shift key to only change to Gap positions on specific images).
