Units new document stays on picas

Dear community,

 

I've changed my units in preference to MM. But every time I create a new document I see the picas selected and I have to manually select MM again within the new document window. Before I never had this problem but for some reason, it stays this way now. Anyone else has this problem or knows a fix?
