Updating a PDF link (Change source page?)

Suppose I "Place" page 3 out of a 44 pages PDF document and then, later, need to change to page 10.
How is that ever possible without going through the Import procedure over?
I must be missing something really ovbious.

Also, I often import a given Artboard number out of an Adobe Illustrator document: how could I later change my mind and instead get another Artboard out of the same document WITHOUT going through the Import process over? I don't think it's possible at all... Have not seen how to do this...

BTW, I'm currently running 19.5 on Windows: is the new "Open PDF" (natively) in this version or only in the Beta?

Each separate action to place a page from a PDF would require a separate import.

Thanks Steve. It does not seem like the "end of the world" to me, in terms of code but I don't think it should be a priority... At least I won't have egg on my face when I tell my students "It can't be done" and someone just raises their hand and say "Pardon me!...." 🙂

Right click the PDF in the links panel and choose relink. In the browser window make sure that show import options is enabled. Click okay. Change the page.

Almost 10/10, Rob. Not quite the solution I would be looking for? My "ideal" is to have a dialog where I only need to change the "Source page" without going through the "Relink'" or "Import" process again : if the file location has NOT changed, why bother the user to re-establish the import path? Just re-import with the original settings. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

The benefit of relink is that you don't have to find the file again. It's about as quick as you can make it. It's always been this way and beyond a scripting solution, I can't think of anything faster.
