When you say renting, you mean you have subscription

Before you dispose your old Mac, run InDesign, go to help menu and choose "Sign Out"

I would go a bit further and suggest, that if the machine is going to be handed down or sold, it should be wiped and a clean install of the operating system done.

Yes. I mesn subscribe. Thanks. I will sign out of Adobe. And then I assume i can sign in on new macbook.

i dont want to wipe it because it is going to my grandson. I will just sign out of everything, eg iTunes.

i didnt realise i could do the same with adobe. I hope i stay signed in with my Mac ?
