i have a mac and a macbook. I am renting Id which allows me to run id on two computers.
i am disposing of my old macbook and buying a new one. How do i make sure i can run id on the new macbook
and remove access to the old one before i dispose of it ?
When you say renting, you mean you have subscription
Before you dispose your old Mac, run InDesign, go to help menu and choose "Sign Out"

I would go a bit further and suggest, that if the machine is going to be handed down or sold, it should be wiped and a clean install of the operating system done.
