Vertical Justification Issue (Branched)

[Branched from CC 2018 Vertical Justification Issue]

To add - when I first opened the idml yesterday and edited the file, it worked fine and I was able to edit it. This morning I've re-opened the document I created to make some client amends and they are re-setting.

The Baseline Options for these text boxes are set on 'Ascent' but none of the alternative options (Cap Height, Leading, x Height, Fixed) set the text on the baseline as it was before editing the box. 'Break Link to Style' in Object Styles also does not work and when I copy and paste the text box it also defaults to the dropped baseline.

Is anybody checking this thread any more or should I try and post elsewhere?

It might be best to start a new thread.

Add your (exact) version of InDesign and OS.

Are you copying and pasting text from Word or InDesign (or another app)?

    CC2019 14.0.2

I'm editing an existing text box within the document and it's re-setting the baseline each time. If I try to copy/paste said text box without editing it, the entire line re-sets. See grabs below. The document was working fine yesterday after creating it from an idml file. It's not a wraparound issue, either.

First grab is of file opened, no editing.

Second grab is of selecting text box and attempting to edit one word.

Third grab is copying and pasting in place entire text box with no editing.

    Hi cyclopsdx ,

I think that issue is crying for a new thread.

    What would be wonderful:

Provide a sample document, also the IDML file, via Dropbox or a similar service.

    Regards,
    Uwe
