Hi,

Questions from VilniusTECH University about equations printing problems. We have many equations in books and journals and when exporting to PDF, they sometimes lose characters. The most interesting thing is that equations prints once with errors but the next time exporting without errors, although no corrections were made. Equations are formated with Mathtype in a MS Word file and imported to InDesign become non-editable EPS files. Changing equations fonts, PDF export profiles or Indesign versions does not help. MathMagic is not suitable for us because cannot automatically format questions with our profiles in MS Word file. Please see our examples.
Maybe You know the reason and can help us? Thank You very much.

Best regards,
Gintas

There has been a hread few weeks ago with exactly the same problem - it would happen when there was a lot of equations in a single document.

Can you split your document into smaller chunks?

I've suggested switching to high res bitmaps, as a workaround, with few extra options, but not sure if it would work for you...
