Web hyperlinks lost after downloading a PDF from Adobe cloud

I have some text hyperlinks embedded in InDesign documents uploaded to Adobe cloud. These function correctly when viewed on screen in Adobe cloud. However, if you download a PDF of the same document, and open in Acrobat, the hyperlinks no longer work? Email links do seem to be fine? Anyone having the same issue?

If you're referring to the PDF that is created and uploaded to Publish Online, that is a static PDF. For best results on this, upload a PDF separately and include a link to download it in the Publish Online document.

Sorry, yes Bob, to be clear, I am using the 'publish online' feature in InDesign. So you are saying don't use that feature – rather, export an interactive PDF from InDesign and upload that to Adobe Cloud?

Ok, thanks for your help Bob. It would be super helpful if the publish online PDF download retained all the original InDesign links. I suspect like me, most people assume they work when they don't.

Well, we all know what happens when you assume! 🙂
