??? What is causing + sign after name of cell style

I created a table 2 years ago and I am now altering it. The Cell Style pane shows a + sign after the name of the style used in the cell shown with highlighted text in attached screen shot labelled 01 CellStyle panel.

I understand that the + sign indicates that something is going on in the cell that is "more" than the style but I cannot figure out what the "more" is.

I have also attached two screen shots of related panels:

• 02 Table Style panel;

• 03 Paragraph Style panel.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hold your mouse over the style name and the overrides should be displayed.

A + after a style name indicates overrides. Overrides mean the style has been altered from its original definition. Hovering over a style name should list exactly what is different. Selecting the cell(s) and Alt/Opt clicking the style name will remove the overrides and restore the original definition. Alternatively, if you like the look of the overrides and want to make all the cells look the same, right click the style name > Redefine Style.
