Hello Adobe,

When will Adobe update CC to work with High Sierra? I see some glitches on Indesign.

Since High Sierra is official, will an update come soon?

Cheers!

Please see the following response in a separate thread Corrupted Cursor in InDesign .

This thread has run its course. A user posted the problem, the cause was identified and confirmed by Adobe. And we don't know when Apple will provide the 10.13.1 MacOS update to fix this!

    This is madness!

And upgrading a production machine's OS the day after a major initial release without testing your critical software isn't?

    Hi,

We have isolated this issue, it is present on MAC OS 10.13, and can occur anytime whenever cursor related functionality being used like placing/drag-drop/selection etc.

We are actively working with Apple on this issue to get it resolved as soon as possible. However, it may not get fixed with the GM build of High Sierra (10.13), but a subsequent Dot Release.

We will surely let our customer know, once we have more information from Apple.

    Currently the only workarounds are:

    1) Restart InDesign.

    2) Revert back to MAC OS 10.12.6

The High Sierra 10.13 is out as final on App store and as an update. Most will update since it is a reccomended update from Apple.

So I think the problem will only become more wide spread.

There is absolutely no reason to update to High Sierra on a production machine. In the long run, High Sierra has some good under-the-hood features but none of them bring major required new features. I'd recommend waiting to update.

Did disabling GPU in InDesign help any? I don't have High Sierra, so can't test.

Judging by reports (see the link below), GPU doesn't seem to be the issue. Other reports suggest it's an Apple bug which may or may not be fixed in the final version. I'm not installing High Sierra on my production computer:
