    Here's the

    document preset list.

If I could find where they are saved, I'd move them to my new computer.

I apologize for the delay, but I am finally on a computer and not on my iPad (and thus working from memory).

As I went to sleep last night, I remembered that downloaded templates show up in the CC libraries > Stock Templates. You can get them from there when you log in with your login.

This morning I downloaded a new InDesign template. It opened a new untitled document and did not save it anywhere! Then I remembered that the ones I had downloaded previously, I had on-purpose saved as templates in their  own folder to ensure that I would always have them.

Also, if you go back to File > New > Saved (as in your screen shot), you can reopen all that you have saved as untitled documents, and then save them out as either documents or templates.

    Does this help?

    Best,

    Jane

P.S. It helped me, so thanks for that!

I've done a search with the extension and nothing was found.  If I open ID, the custom templates appear.

Working with a clients windows computer.

Have you downloaded them yet? If you are looking at them in the Start screen, they may or may not be downloaded. On a Mac, the default location is the Downloads folder; I'm not sure about Windows. But the location can be changed and they can be saved anywhere. If you show a screen shot of the Start screen, we can see if they have been downloaded or not.

If you are on a Mac do a search on "This Mac" for the File Extension "indt".

Windows should have a similar search function.

    Hi,

You mean the templates you see in the New Document window?

Or the templates you have created and saved(indt)? If this is the case then like Bob said, save them and transport them from one PC to another.

You can put them where ever you want.
