Why does Adobe CS not support latest FOGRA settings? For eg the latest default 'Europe Prepress3' embeds FOGRA 39 but printers have moved on to FOGRA 51 and 53 for coated paper. Seems rather odd to be subscribing to a specialist publishing software suite that's behind the print industry standard...
Any updates on the way?

I think you need to download the pso coated v3 file from the ECI website.

They'll get around to it eventually. In my experience, the number of print companies in the UK working to FOGRA 51 is still a minority. For now, it's just a case of installing the approiate profiles for the ECI site Dave posted.

Adobe InDesign CS is several years old and EOL and is not supported by Adobe. To get the latest version of this professional level publishing software, InDesign CC2019 (at this posting), you need to upgrade and take out one of the subscription methods.

Color Settings can easily be customized and saved in any of the InDesign versions. If there really was an agreed upon CMYK print standard there would be no need for color management or different press profiles.
