good morning community,

I would like to know which character you use to indicate a range of values.
for example if you want to indicate that the voltage range is between 42 and 58 volts, which character do you use ?
en dash, hyphen, tilde, slash, ...

Thank you

Just in case no more than three or four have already said it, en-dash. I think that goes across nearly all languages, including CJK when western numbers are used.

It is a subtle point of typography that I always note as a mark of expertise. Dash or hyphen? Humph. Newbie. 🙂

I think it's country / language dependent?

Like with quotes, thousand / decimal separators, etc.
