White Box in Indesign behind work

Hello, I was working on an indesign file and when I went back to edit it after making changes to a different file, there was a large white rectangle behind my document. I'm not able to move it or delete it. Could it be from editing the bleed and slug from the other file I was working on? It's messing up my PDF versions and I need to correct it.

Attached screenshots for better understanding, the black boxes are just there to cover my work. Also as you can see from the pictures, when I go inot a different view the box dissapears.

Hm…

Perhaps your document went corrupt?

Try this: Export to an IDML file. Open the IDML file as document and save to a new name.

Just tried it, sadly nothing has changed 😞

Anything else that I might try?
