Whole document (text threads) have turned red?

What is going on?

So I left this 200+ page document for a week then returned and all the text threads have turned red (a shade of the colour I'm using throughout) with a thick red stroke surrounding each text box

see attached PDF

NOTHING has been changed, swatches, frames and strokes set to no colour

YET when I pdf the document it comes out as it should. White pages

I'm thinking it must be a VIEW option I'm not familiar with but I'm stumped

Please help

PS I'm a noob. I use INDD instead of Word because it works. having said that ive been using this for 5 years and never experienced this before

thank you

Sean

Correct answer Jongware

Your document must have originated from an XML import -- this indicates that the current story has an associated XML tag.

It is indeed a View option: View > Structure > Hide tagged frames. See also the online help: Tag content for XML in InDesign
