Why would 4.3.4 move to the second column instead of continuing below the previous text?

Hi @Charlie329572228uvx , Are you sure the frame you have selected isn’t sitting on top of the frame(s) containing the text? Check your Layers panel, which shows the selection—here you can see the selected text frame is on top of the frame with the text:
