Will InDesign CS6 files open in InDesign version 19.6?

Now that Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications are no longer supported, I am considering finally paying for the current Creative Cloud InDesign. Will InDesign CS6 files open in InDesign version 19.6?

Yes. I just opened an InDesign 6.0 file (aka InDesign CS4) without any problems.
