[edit] Reading about index creation now... seems like Index Markers may be the way to do it, though I don't know why it's limited to one index per book. Anyway...

Not sure how to delete a topic.

Not really sure that could be simply fixed as you think: An Index will only give you a list of page numbers.

If you want to do it "manually", follow the explanation!

But if you want to do it with just "1 click" after having defining the list of items as "Banana", "Orange", "Coffee", "Tea", …, you will need more!

This is odd. I duplicated some documents I'm working on, and opened up the main body.

The body is made up of placed/edited/styled Word documents.

It's part of a Book file - within the book file is a manually built index.

HOWEVER... somehow this book file already contains all the index topics...  ??!?!   Nothing shows up under "Reference". I haven't manually created any topics.

No idea what's going on here.
