Hi all,
My Indesign is really quite advanced. It's showing a really advanced date:
Any ideas?
Maybe InDesign didn't like 2017 any better than I did, and has high hopes that 2018 will be a better year?

My preview matches what shows in the file. However, there is definitely a date bug going on for today's date since this is December 31, 2017!

When I use the default format, it reads it just fine. When I manually enter "YYYY," it changes to 2018. It will be interesting to check again tomorrow and see if the bug is still there.

I was thinking "Hal", but I'll go with "bug".

I was imagining some playful AI saying, "This is not the year you're looking for."

Let me try to reproduce this. I'll report back at December 31st, 2018.
(Hope I don't forget, else it will take another year...)

Might I suggest you write a script to remind you?

A calendar entry should be sufficient...

Well, yes...but I'm not sure Erica was thinking of merely sufficient.

I love the idea of a program liking or disliking something...
Well, giving it a deeper thought, I would be not amused, having my programs expressing feelings...
