Anyone seen these yellow lines before? Can't figure out what they are, and how to toggle them on/off. (Id 19.4)

Correct answer Frans v.d. Geest

Dynamic spelling underlines are RED by default Abhishek... not yellow, so it may be Conditional text.

Hi @David24437096q354,

Those yellow jagged lines are the InDesign dynamic spelling indicators, which appear under words that the software thinks might be misspelled. They're not printed and won't show up in exported PDFs.

If you'd like to hide them, you can go to Edit > Spelling > Dynamic Spelling and uncheck it. This will turn off the yellow indicators in your document.

Give that a try and let me know if it resolves the issue for you.

Abhishek

Hi @Frans v.d. Geest,

Thank you for pointing that out. As per the curves seen in the screenshot, I thought it could be a case where the user might have changed the indicator color at some point for a specific task and didn't notice it, which is why I suggested the dynamic spelling scenario first.

Appreciate your input on this!

Abhishek
