I have to create a document with more than 50 tables and I want to have 3 different table styles.
I have created the first style, which works great, bu when I duplicate this style, make the adjustments in the Table Styles Panel and then try to apple it on a new table, nothing happens!
I was under the impression that this would be an easy process and that I would only have to click on the table I want to change and then click on the style I want to change it to.
Any help please??? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!
Thank you so much Chad, but that wasn't the issue, I've checked it earlier.
I realised that I was just clicking on the table and then the table style. Instead I selected one of the cells and then clicked on the table style I wanted to change it to and that worked. That's weird though but I guess it also makes sense.
Thanks for your help!

Typically the cause of this is that you have other elements overriding the formatting from the Table Style. Typically this could be a manually applied character, paragraph, or cell style. With the table selected, go to the Character styles panel and make sure that none is chosen (and clear overrides). Go to the paragraph styles panel and choose basic paragraph (and clear overrides). Finally, go to the Cell Styles panel and apply None (and clear overrides). Now apply the Table style. Doing this ensures that the Table Style can do what you want it to do without any interference from other manually applied styles.

It sounds like you weren't selecting the table using the Type tool? But instead the Selection tool?
