CC has hijacked my legal copies of CS Web and Design CS6

I own the Creative Suite Web and Design CS6 and wanted to check out the newest version of Indesign to see if it was worth upgrading. I chose the month to month and took a  look, then cancelled it two days later. Adobe gave me my refund and cancelled my subscription.  Since that cancellation kicked in, I can't access any of my CS 6 programs.  I get an error saying I have to REnew my subscription.  That is criminal!  So basically Adobe has hijacked my legal copies of CS 6 and won't allow me to use them.  I refuse to uninstall and reinstall and lose all my settings because Adobe is in the wrong.  How do I fix this, Adobe?

uninstall everything cc (and cs6) including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

then install your cs6 using the installation file linked below.

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

Here you find everything you might need:

Earlier versions are covered here, too.

Thank you.  Any tips on how to save my customizations in Indesign?
