CC Libraries Problem

Hello...

I've been working on a magazine and just started a new section in which I need several things that are stored in my CC Libraries.

When I try to access my libraries, I get this error message that I've never seen before:

Page Failed to Load:

URL: file://Library/Application%20Support/Adove/CEP/extensions/CC_LIBRARIES_PANEL_EXTENSION_3_2_108/index.html

Error: ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (-6)

ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

I've looked at other posts in which someone is experiencing problems with their CC Libraries, but none seem to address this issue.

I have not made any changes or recent upgrades, my CC apps and account are up to date.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra 10.12.6

I'm not yet in panic mode, but I do go to press this weekend, so panic mode is forthcoming, I'm sure.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Susan

    Hello Susan,

You can restore CC Libraries icon in InDesign by clearing InDesign cache/preferences:

    1. (Windows) Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
    2. (Mac OS) While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

    Hi Susan, hi Barb!

That new icon you are seeing seems to be a default icon for a CEP extension perhaps.

Could that be a bug maybe. I did not sign out so my CC Libraries icon is looking as usual.

    Hi Susan:

Well, I had this icon until I signed out and back in.

    Now it looks like yours.

So yes, the icon was updated And no, you are not losing your mind. 😊

I'm not working with a pre-release... not that I'm aware of, anyway.

And if I'm hallucinating, I deeply apologize, but I would have sworn that my CC Libraries icon looked similar to the CC menu bar icon, but I haven't opened it since the last time I needed it, which was about 3 weeks ago.

    Hi Susan,

can you show a screenshot? Don't know what you exactly mean.

Are you working with a prerelease version of InDesign perhaps?

    Hi Susan:

I'm glad that worked for you.

"the icon in the right side toolbar is different. Did something change/update?"

Is this icon in InDesign or in the CC Desktop App? Can you share a screen shot?

Thank you for the suggestions. That brought it back and everything looks back to normal, but the icon in the right side toolbar is different. Did something change/update?

    Hi Susan:

I would start by signing out of your Creative Cloud account and signing back in. You also could shut everything down and restart.

    Hi Susan,
    I would try the following:
    1. Sign out from Creative Cloud Desktop App.

    2. Boot your Mac.

    3. Sign in with Creative Cloud Desktop App using the Adobe ID that belongs to your Creative Cloud subscription.

If CC Desktop App requires an update do that update.
