CC Libraries stuck on read only / add artwork screen

Hello,

Sometimes CC libraries will just get stuck on the "This is read-only library" screen or "+ Artwork" screen depending on if I have access. I'm not sure why this happens. How do I close out of this and get back to grabbing graphics from my libraries? The only way I know how at the moment is to completely close out of InDesign. Has anyone else had a similar issue and know another way besides closing out of the program completely?

Thank you.

Creating a new library made it work again.

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the steps shared below:

-Sign out of Adobe InDesign & Adobe CC Desktop app.

-Close Adobe CC Sync Services & other Adobe processes from the Task Manager/Activity Monitor.

-Reboot the computer.

-Sign back on the Adobe CC Desktop app and launch InDesign from there and check again.

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks

Rishabh

This didn't help. Still stuck on read only.

I'd suggest you try logging out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, and signing in again and seeing if you still experience it.
